Education in Britain-Homeschooling.


ADVANTAGES OF HOMESCHOOLING:

a. Parents can watch after their children all day.
b. Children learn good social habits, and also to give respect to people of all ages.
c. Communication and language abilities is improved, since children are provided with good reference.
d. Student to Teacher ratio is high, so this means unlimited resources to knowledge.
e. Studies can be tailored as per students need, and his/her ability to learn.
f. Homeschooling provides and maintains positive attitude in children.
g. As per research indicates, their are two main factors that are very helpful in upbring of children's educational success, i.e. positive encouragement at home and involvement of parents in educating their child.
h. Children become more independent in their thinking and are firm on their decision.
i. Homeschooling also provides them enough time to pursue their hobbies and interest. This broadans their way of thinking.
j. Parents become influential in life as children are allowed to grow at their own speed. This also means children are free from peer pressure.


DISADVANTAGES OF HOMESCHOOLING:

a. Parents cannot have a time for themselves, they always have to be around their children.
b. Not getting along with children of same age might create some social problems.
c. This may also result in aquiring character of working alone as individual rather than working as team.
d. Children always think that they are missing out something by not going to school and doing homeschooling, even though they are taken by there parents to scout camps, dance classes, sport teams, sunday school and other organized activities.
