Familylife in Britain has come a long way and its changing fast nowadays.In past family in Britain was lead by two parents,with either 2 or 3 children.People use to stay married with single persons and their was no fad of getting divorce, even they use to have children after marriage.
This picture is now changed drastically, many people want to stay as single parent and most of the young people have children before their marriage.
Also their are some people who get married and want children in their late thirties.This may be due to their job or want to earn more money before strating of the family.The number of single parents is increasing as most of the marriage is ending up in divorce,and even some females prefer to be single parent without getting married.

Thanks for your contribution. You have answered the question well. When you say ' people used to stay married with single persons' do you mean: people used to have only one life-partner? Now, if people do choose marriage, they may marry and divorce more than once.
Why are more and more people choosing NOT to get married, do you think?

My comment.......
It is not the case that people nowadys don't want to get married but the main reason is the level of stress that they are exposed to, make them lose interest in marriage....people have started becoming slaves of their own life.
